I'm guessing we'll see more of Narcissa in the final 2 books. It
turns out that on top of being wife of a DE and mother of a main
character she's cousin to the Black's.

Featheringstonehaugh's read on Narcissa's character seem to be
mostly conjecture concerning her marriage. All we really know about
her is that she didn't want Draco to attend Durmstrang (GoF) and
that she passed on Kreacher's message to LV. Definitely evil, but
not necessarily a DE herself.

There's been some discussion about Draco's possible reedemption at
the final battle. Draco has not gone over to the dark side yet, At
some point he will have to decide. Although he shows no sign of
turning to the good yet, he still believes LV is the winning side
(he's been indoctrinated by Daddy for a long time).

I remember Hagrid's words from book 1 about when a wizard goes to
the dark side no one matters to him anymore. I see Narcissa as being
the difference for Draco's redemption. Lucius is a full dark wizard
and cares for no one but himself. I see Narcissa as trying to be the
supportive wife she was raised to be, but still being a loving
mother.

At one point Narcissa will try to protect Draco. Perhaps she doesn't
want him to enter the DE, perhaps LV decides to torture Draco or
Narcissa for a failure and Narcissa takes to brunt.

Opinions?
