I really hope you aren't disappointed, since I want to see more of
them too. I found myself wondering as I was reading OOP the first time
even, what their magic will do to contribute to the greater goood of
the wizarding world. Let me explain. While they gave one of the
chasers the wrong part of a nosebleed thing during Quidditch practice,
if the other end works not only for their created nosebleeds, but for
"real" nosebleeds (or other bleeding perhaps) as well, that could be a
very useful MEDICAL discovery. Just as other (of their) charms could
have other practical, non-joke uses, even if they haven't "discovered"
that part yet. They applied themselves to create jokes but have come
up with some pretty impressive things that could be very useful. Isn't
that how a lot of discoveries are made, trying to accomplish something
else, and happening to come across something else? It will certainly
justify their career to Molly, and give her something SHE will think
to be really proud of. I'd love to see the deatheaters suddenly
turning into canaries... Sounds like a Bugs Bunny cartoon doesn't it?
