My problem is that as of book 6, the Weasley's will only have 2
minor children. The older brothers all have jobs. The fact that the
Weasleys are poor always seemed to be because they had so many
children. A government job should easily support 2 children though,
so I will be rather annoyed if the Weasley's are still as poor in
the next book. I also think Bill, CHarlie, and probly even Percy
grew up for quite a while living in a financially comfortable family.

There's a good chance things were better when Bill and Charlie were
little. But Arthur's salary could have been lower then. He may
have stopped getting promoted 15 years ago instead of 25.

I see no way that they could have been much more comfortable when
Percy was "growing up." He was only 5 when Ginny was born. By time
he was old enough to know how much money they had, they would have 7
children. Thing may heve been comfortable durnng his infancy, but I
seriously doubt they were very comfortable when he was "growing up."

I do agree things should get better now that they have only two
children to support.
