It seems like you've put in a good bit of time and research in your
post, and I hate to just shoot your idea down. We're on this list to
come up with new ideas and theories, after all! But it states
numerous time in canon that Lily is muggle-born. Sorry, I don't have
any direct quotes or page numbers--I just know that it was said
several times. I do like your idea, however, that Hagrid seemed to
know at least *something* about Petunia. Dumbledore could've told
him things about her, but still...it's something to think about.
