I really agree with Dan, I'd be a tad disappointed if there were to 
be another animagus.  However I dont think the insects were 
mentioned accidently or for added atmospheric quality.  Dumbledore 
seems to have an affinity for animals (fawkes, Firenze -if you could 
class him an animal- house elves -again classification) perhaps 
given the meaning of his name DD has the ability to communicate with 
bees etc and gleans info from them regarding HP.
just a thought, and it hasnt been done before so it's more likely 
than animagus.
