As much as I hate to admit it, Marianne, I agree with you. I just don't have
the heart to tell my friend -- I think she's in denial. I remember JKR
saying the very same thing. She even said, after she had written 'the terrible
death' that she went into her kitchen, crying, and said to her husband that she
did it... the character was DEAD! I remember her saying in an earlier
interview that the DEATH would be very difficult for her to write but that it had to
be done. That sounds pretty final to me.
