3. It says so in the book. I mean, I know everything is not always
what they seem in JKR World and even Dumbledore could be wrong, but
when something that crucial is written point blank on the page, I
don't feel the need to question it.

Who knows, there is that possibility by the end of book 7 I'll be
eating my words, so we'll just have to wait and see. :)

Hello all, Fred Waldrop here;

I agree with you Maritza, and I can not understand why people read
the words and then say the words do not mean what they say.

In OotP, page 842, US hardcover:
"Then - it might not be me?" said Harry.
"I am afaid," said Dumbledore slowly, looking as though every word
cost him a great effort, "that there is no doubt it IS you."
"But you said - Neville was born at the end od July too - and his mum
and dad - "
"You are forgetting the next part of the prophecy, the final
identifying figure of the boy who could vanquish Voldemort....
Voldemrt himself would 'mark him as his equal.' And so he did, Harry.
He chose you, not Nevelle. He gave you the scar that has proved both
blessing and curse."

Exactly, what part of this passage that anyone can't understand?
What part of this makes anyone AT ALL doubt Harry is "The One"?
The only way JKR could make it any clearer is, she would have to slap
everone on the back of the head, and scream the words to each and
everyone that has read the books.
