I don't think that the Hermione is always mothering Harry is a
particularly strong arguement to counter H/Hr. 'Mothering' is in
Hermione's nature. She nurtures, whether it's Harry, or Ron, or
Neville, or Hagrid, etc. Her nature no more detracts from a
possibility of H/Hr than it would for R/Hr or N/Hr.

You'll notice, too, that Hermione gives her 'loads of information
speech' to *both* Ron and Harry, to which Ron suggests
Hermione 'write a book'.

I seem to recall that Harry tells Hermione to back off too. In fact,
Harry seems to influence Hermione with a well placed glare.

Harry needs someone layed back. No bossing, no yelling, no
problems...

I dunno, he seems quite impressed with Hemrione's ideas (the jinxed
parchment, Protean Charm, even, in the end, the DA)

Um, O.K. :D
