JKR was planning to put 3 years between each of the

this from an interview? Does anyone have any specific
info on this?

As far as I've heard, the timeline for books 6 and 7
are the same as
it was for book 5. In other words, there is no
timeline/pre-
determined release dates.
Everything I've heard or
seen since OotP came out says that book 6 will be the
same way. It
could be done in a year, it could be another three.

But in an interview, I think the one with Katie
Couric, JKR said that OotP is the longest book in the
series and that Book 6 is planned at around PoA
length. So I wouldn't expect it in a year, but if she
writes steadily and keeps it at PoA length I could see
it coming out in 2005.
