Ah, I loved that scene. It reminded so much of the "Your mama so fat
she rolled over a dollar and made four quarters" banter of my youth.

Draco is such a wuss. He gripes at Harry for insulting Narcissa
AFTER he himself just laid into Molly in front of Ron.

People think I hate Slytherin, but I wish I WAS in Slytherin so I
could slap Draco around some and tell him to stop humiliating my
house with his incompetence.

That scene can be taken as evidence that Narcissa is a loving
mother, but it can also be taken as evidence that Draco is a devoted
son, or that Draco simply didn't like the embarassment of being
zinged by Harry.

be able to do the killing herself.

Oh, that's entirely possible. But then again, we haven't seen her
when cornered. (Actually, we haven't seen much of her at all.) After
all, she is the sister of Hellcat Bellatrixie.

not sure he'd be able to stomach it.

I'm beginning to think that Draco will betray Lucius not out of any
sense of honor or decency, but because he's just too much of an
incompetent wimp. Lucius will order him to do something and Draco
will mess it up - my prediction.

I think Lucius will regret not doing to Draco what Col. Fubster did
to that ratty, underbred dog of Aunt Marge's.
