The whole Cho Chang thang

What about Cho? I mean, JKR doesn't seem to throw too many 
characters away (she mentions Sirius in the 1st chapter of the 
1st book for pete's sake). I was just wondering if Harry's feelings 
for Cho will come into play in the story at all. I have no really 
strong theories, just a few thoughts. Cho's jealousy towards 
Hermy, for one thing, sets Hermy up for some major betrayal in 
the future. The way Cho defended her  "SNEAKy" friend Marietta 
just to put Hermy down could just be a little  "teenage drama", or 
a foreshadowing of more things to come. Will Harry and Cho 
finally become a couple of some sort or will Harry's disregard for 
her set her off? Harry will be 16 in the next book, and though 
quite clever and having a lot on his mind, 16 yr old boys don't 
always think with their heads. 

And emotional teenage girls can be quite dangerous ; )

Just some thoughts.
