Good theory. I just pictured that whole scene and it's very very 
sad, but it is very possible that it might happen. I wonder if when 
Harry is in Hogwarts, do you think someone is keeping an eye on the 
Dursleys? I hope DD has already cover that, I mean the idea that the 
Dursleys might end up killed by Voldemort.

I wonder if Petunia has seen Voldemort before, when Harry tells her 
that Voldemort was back, Petunia was really scared but Vernon 
wasn't, which made me think that Petunia might have seen Voldemort 
while she was with Lily or something like that.
