I think the Dursleys might well be a target of the DEs in the future
but I think there would have to be some sort of redemption on their
parts first in order for the deaths to phase Harry. At this point,
Harry could care less about the protection that being with the
Dursleys provides and he would not feel much of a loss but instead
would probably feel grateful if even guiltily so. If there is some
sort of redemption, say Petunia telling him some of his family
history, then the effect of their murders upon Harry would be much
greater.
