Ohhh, this is just too eerie and too real a picture. I could,
however, see it happening sometime during the school year --
Dumbledore/McGonagall calling Harry out of class, "Harry, there's
been an accident", and a crew of Aurors arriving to take Harry back
to Privet Drive, to this scene. For all Harry hates the Dursleys,
and he certainly has abundant reason to do so, I can't imagine him
doing anything but going postal and taking after Voldemort in a
screaming confusion of grief and fury.

That would play Harry directly into the hands of Voldemort, if Harry
doesn't learn to ride herd on his darker emotions. Reckless,
thoughtless, and furious, without the protection of loving those who
have died, he'd be an easy target for the Voldemort and the DEs, and
it would be a very narrow squeak if he survived it -- possibly
costing the lives of one or more Aurors.

But JKR just wrote such a scene at the MoM in OotP, and she's too
canny to repeat such a big set piece in another book . . . right?
