Remember it is a kids book. Even though more adults and teens enjoy
the stories now, Rowling still has to respect the fact that younger
kids are reading.
Leaving the event blank enables each age group reading to place their
own expectations, desires and experience on what is happening between
Harry and Cho. For example a 35 year old will imagine the kiss very
differently than a 13 year old.
