I think you might be right about that. The whole thing kinda 
mirrors the Crouch story in some ways. Remember it is Arthur 
Weasley and Percy who had the falling out over Mr. Weasley's 
lack of ambition.  Molly may be the reason for him being 
eventually accepted back into the family - sacrificing her self in 
the process (as Mrs. Crouch did).

I may be reaching a bit but Molly Weasley would definately 
sacrifice her own life for any one of her children.
