Besides his real father, Harry has a number of father figures. In
his own mind, Sirius stepped in to take the place of the father he'd
lost. But was Sirius a genuine father figure? I would say no. He
seemed to me the sort of "father" kids think they want - the fun,
affectionate, protective fantasy father. But other people (Hermione,
for example) can see the flaws in Sirius, and even Harry has his
moments of doubt about Sirius's judgment. I think that
Harry's "real" father-figure is Dumbledore. He also loves Harry,
but he's a lot less enjoyable to be around, mostly because his
presence tends to come with obligations and burdens for Harry. So
if Book 5 is meant to show Harry developing teenage angst and
turbulence, I think that Book 6 is going to show the phase of
teenage rebellion against one's father. There's going to be a rift
between Harry and Dumbledore; you can already see it starting at the
end of OotP. Harry is starting to doubt Dumbledore's wisdom and
judgment.

I think that in Book 6, Harry is going to rebel against Dumbledore,
and act contrary to his directions. He'll think that he knows
better, or that the orders are unreasonable (Harry has always had a
tendency towards this) and there's going to be a disaster. And I
think it's going to revolve around something that we've been told is
very dangerous: time travel. It seemed odd to me that in OotP, JKR
almost ostentatiously showed us again the full array of
ingenious "gimmicks" she'd invented in other books - Polyjuice
Potion, Marauder's Map, Invisibility Cloak, Foe-Glass, Sneakoscopes,
right down to the Put-Outer...all except the Time Turner. Time
travel only came up once the group were in the Dept. of Mysteries,
where it was shown as a dangerous and mysterious power that was
under study. I think it's going to be the focus of Book 6, and
Harry is going to try to go back in time to change the past.
