That is quite likely for I also do think that the four not only stood
together in goo d times but also would ever support each other whenever they
needed help (why else would James, Sirius and Peter try to become
animagusses when not to make life in Hogwarts a bit more comfortabel for
Remus?). This would also explain why he was at GP when Harry wanted to know
about what he had seen in the pensive...
So this really sounds quite likely and reasonable to me. Good point!
