Now me (Cindy):
I don't see how Snape created a situation where the two couldn't trust
each other.I think rather, that Harry 'created' that situation in his
head and wanted to believe in it so much that it became reality for
him... Everything that Snape has done concerning Harry so far, has
been to keep him safe. And he has saved his life more then once, Harry
owes him a huge 'life debt'.

Although, frankly, by that time I'm not sure it would have done any
good for the

Now me again (Cindy):
IO completely agree with you here. Harry did not want to learn
Occlumency, because he wanted to keep seeing into the room, and most
likely, to spite Snape.

Now me (Cindy):
I'll try and be civilabout my response here: SNAPE IS NOT PETTY OR
SMALL!
Snape is independent, shrewd, cunning, highly witty and uses dry
humour that you obviously fail to understand. Albus Dumbledore trusts
him (and Dumbledore happens to be the greatest wizard alive), and so
does Hermione Granger who is always defending him, especially in OOTP,
and Hermione is probably the smartest little witch in Hogwarts! Snape
is also highly valuable and very important to the Order. Everyone gets
excited before the first meeting in the book, and they all huddle
around him.
Snape rocks! Snape is the best character inthe books!

Now me again (Cindy):
Have you read ootp? Because I know, that if some idiot and his friend
decided to attack me just because one of them was bored, hang me
upside down in the air and choke me - I would hate that person for
life. How do you think Snape felt, I bet that used to happen to him
quite frequently - the school bullies Snape and Potter ganging up on
him with Pettigre cheering on and the Prefect Lupin pretending that
nothing wrong was happening. I know exactly why Snape hates Sirius,
because I do to.
As an ex-teacher, this should be something you can understand.

Now me (Cindy):
So do I.
