I agree bibphile, but I think he is motivated by
personal gain more than he is for the "Greater Good".
I just have a odd feeling about him and the many
references made about him in the books just don't
seem to fit the many theories floating around about
him. I think JKR is very logical and writes in a very
logical manner, I think many times people try and read
to much into it thinking there is some great mystery
to be had when all the time the answer was right there
in front of us in plain black and white, from the top
of my head:
Trelawney - although she is a flake we found that her
presence as a teacher had some validation with her
predictions.
