rather quickly but the one thing that stands out (in my mind) at least
is that if these guys are such horrible people. Why did they risk
their lives to help a friend? To spend time with him? I mean that
says a lot about people, they could have easily said "Well remus I
know it sucks but were still your friends" and that would be the end
of it. But know they went out and became animagsus. Now, granted I
don't think they cared about wheter or not it was illegal but
certainly, they cared about each other.

now me (Cindy):
I haven't changed my mind about Sirius at least, I always thought he
was a git, right from the very beginning!
You think they took a big risk spending time with Lupin, fair enough -
I think that Sirius Black was an arrogant bully so obsessed with
proving how much of a blood-traitor he was, that he tried to kill
Snape, and didn't even think twice what the consequences would
have/could have been for Lupin. What happens to werewolves who eat
their fellow students? I bet Macnair (the executioner) knows! What
Sirius did was completely self-centered.
