Yes, Ithe movies are really just expensive fan art, but JKR did tell
Rickman something to help him portray Snape better - perhaps this was
it, and he does do it perfectly. Watch the film again, and I amsure
you'll agree. The only reason I really noticed it so completely was
becuase, at the time I was going through ootp with a fine toothes
comb, looking for clues - and I had the movie running in the
background. I just happened to look up during that scene, and it all
kind of 'clicked together'.
