I wouldn't go by the movie, though.  I always took the point that 
Snape and Quirrell were *talking* at that moment, and that 
Quirrell/Voldemort responded to something Snape said.  
Probably, "I'm sure in a moment or two we'll be meeting the FAMOUS 
Harry Potter.  He must be right here in this hall, I'll bet if I 
look around I can spot him..." (Scar hurts as Snape sees 
Harry) "Yep.  There he is.  Looks just like his father too...grrrr.."
