Two of my favorite subjects rolled into one post!

It was I who theorized that Fred & George's departure could lead to
Harry not spending all seven years at Hogwarts. Don't get me wrong,
I love Hogwarts, but I really felt like there was a lot of waiting in
this book for a big climactic finale that seemed certain not to take
place at the school. It also felt like there were things happening
outside of the school that Harry wanted to be a part of (and as a
reader I wanted to know about.) I don't think that Harry is just
going to decide not to go back to school in Book 7, but it is
conceivable that something could happen which forces his final months
of education to be more on the job, practical training, maybe?

On my favorite subject, The Prequel, my new and brilliant idea (we're
not talking about a whole lot of brilliance on a Monday morning)
which I'm sure has a snowball's chance in hell of occurring: if JKR
does not want to write another book on our favorite subject of the
WW, what if she wrote or oversaw a screenplay? I know, no movie
stuff here, but this is a non-existent (and will likely never exist)
fantasy movie about the back story of the Marauders. Come on, a
really terrifying opening seen of a small boy being bit by a werewolf
and then flash forward a few years to the fantastic four at Hogwarts
(alright, fantastic three & substandard fourth!!) This is good stuff
people, tell me you wouldn't pay money to at least see it if you
couldn't read it.
