After reading the book, it sounds to me like only Harry or Voldemort
would have been able to take the prophecy off the shelf, after that,
it would have been okay.
page 585 American
"Bode could never have taken it, Master...Bode would have known he
could not..." - Rookwood
more promising
page 829
"...Only the people to whom they refer can lift them from the shelves
without suffering madness." - Dumbledore
Personally, I don't know how I feel about this theory. I just keep
reminding myself that Harry did not die. Maybe this really is soley
due to Lily's sacrifice. Neville touching the prophecy, thats
interesting. I shorta wish Lucius DID touch it. Then he could join
Neville's parents in St. Mungo's. I mean after all, he HAS donated a
lot of money to the place, so I am sure his visit would be quite
enjoyable :o)
Roxx (who is trying really really hard to suppress the urge to laugh
out loud at the thought of Lucius in St. Mungo's, as crazy as
Lockhart)
