--- In HPforGrownups at yahoogroups.com> > Talisman ranted that
she "sees nothing wrong with a little emoting, though unbridled it
does become tiresome, and can even tolerate some extempore chatter--
in hopes that it will foster creativity--but really thinks we ought
to strive to impose some intellectual discipline on our attempts at
explication."
Admirably restrained magicroxx responded: I usually do so, only with
the facts from the books and even list page reference, I think I can
be pardoned this once.
Talisman, who's been a little snappy ever since she let Snape nibble
at her neck, replies:
Actually I did notice that you usually provide cites. Let it
therefore be known that the final paragraph does not pertain to you,
personally.
I can only imagine that your misquote got under my skin because I'm
currently researching the Snape issue. Then I allowed my long
standing ire with all the sloppy half-baked posts that one has to
wade through--and which I usually just sigh and ignore--to bubble to
the top by the end of the post.
Therefore let my vitriol fall instead upon the heads of those who
clog up the archives with empty-headed babble and can't be bothered
to check the text before waxing into totally unsupported tangents
based on what they think they remember reading six months ago.
Blah.

magicroxx continued from the Albert Hall interview:>

Against The Dark Arts teacher?"

a lot away about the remaining two books.

Talisman, who's mood is improving, responds:
Bring it on. Let's hope he gets the DADA position in Books 6 and
7. I'd love some nice long revealing sessions with Snape in the hot
seat.
