Buttercup:
I blame Dumbledore for this. If Dumbledore would have
just told Harry the truth, the reason why he needed to
learn Occlemency, Harry would have made a greater
effort I'm sure. If Harry had know that there was a
great possibility that the Dark Lord would put untrue
thoughts in his head to lure him into the Ministry of
Magic, Sirius would be alive. Harry's only a 15 year
old boy. He acted how most boys his age would, given
his feelings toward his instructor and his curiosity
about the door in the corridor. Dumbledore has over a
100 years of living experience. Harry only has 15.
But then if Dumbledore had been totally honest with
Harry from the beginning, we wouldn't have a story.
