How so? The fellow has turned out to be mostly trustworthy and loyal
towards Dumbledore in most cases except in matters involving Sirius
and James. .

We are not talking about his instincts in the heat of battle, but on
how he judges people and interprets events and in regards to them he
is wrong in many or most instances.
