assuming that the spell form of "Occlumency" is "Occlumens!" and you
don't say "aw-KLU-mens," do you? Nah, of course you don't. You

The Sergeant Majorette says:

In my young days, back when dinosaurs roamed the land and cool people
referred to St. Au-GUS-tin (Augustine) and St. JER-um (Jerome), we
would not have said either one. We would have dug up a proper
imperative verb form and said something like "Mens Occlude" or
however "Mind, close yourself!" would translate.

Seriously, though, there doesn't seem to be a spell form
of 'occlumens', you do it or you *are* it. As for 'legilimens', I
tried it and found I needed an emphasis on the last syllable to
synchronize with my wand gesture, like this: "(the windup)LEH-gi-
li" "-(and the pitch)MENS!"

Even more seriously, it's probably a good thing I'm out of the Army,
because I would definitely have tried this on some hapless second
lieutenant.
