...Are we all going back and rereading the books to find these now? :)
When Sirius writes to Harry in the beginning of the book, he says "they're
saying he's got Mad-Eye out of retirement", but in the Pensieve scene with
Karkaroff (which is clearly after LV's downfall, and therefore after Sirius was
sent to Azkaban) Harry sees Moody with two normal eyes...So why does Sirius call
him Mad-Eye in GOF???
I suppose it's possible to find a way to explain this one
away...somehow...but obviously the "Mad-Eye" came from reference to his magical eye, which now
appears to have only come about after Sirius was in Azkaban...

Who loved reading the series again after reading book 5 many times, but found
PoA so much more heart-wrenching :::sigh::... we miss you Sirius...
