>>>He is pretty old and I don't think- no amtter how powerful he is-
that he is immortal- is it possible he could die of old age? I mean
I would be really angry if this was the way DD finally died but it
is a possibility<<<

Lady Macbeth:
Why angry? After the life he's lived, I think it's only fair. While dying
in the midst of battle or for some "great achievement" might seem to be a
"glorious" way to go for a lot of people, I think that people like
Dumbledore would prefer to just go to bed one day and not get up again.
He's lived a long, full life - by Muggle standards, he's seen us come out of
the Industrial Revolution to the Information Age. He's seen two world wars
and countless smaller wars. By wizarding standards he's seen people he knew
as children and students become fellow staff at Hogwarts; he's fought two
dark wizards and defeated one. He's seen the domestication of the
hippocampus by the merpeople, discovered the twelve uses of dragon's blood
and worked in alchemy with Nicholas Flamel. Aside from that, his numerous
authoritative and leadership roles suggest the amount of faith that the
wizarding public has in him as a person as well as his achievements. I, for
one, would like to see him survive to the end, so that he can pass away
peacefully.
