That must mean that Snape became father when he wasn't really out of school!
Counting backwards James and Lilly were very jung parents (James must have
been about 22 when Harry was born). Now Tonks is a fully taught Auror. Let
the time from leaving Hogwarts to being an Auror be 1 year than Snape must
have been about 18! Do you really think this is possible?
BTW:Just because JKR uses a name of an ols myth doesn't mean she uses all
the other names mentioned . Rubeus for example is a god thrown out of the
Olymp by a trick of Hades (!) and Zeus (!) allowed him to come back to take
care of the cratures. Though this name is used in its mthological way
neither DD (= Zeucs) nor Tom Riddle (= Hades) have the related mythological
name! So the "Mrs. Eavens" might have some other name...
