s far as I could tell in Book V, Phineas Nigellus
wasn't such a bad 
guy. In fact, he became my favorite minor character
in the whole 
book. Sure he's been dead for about a hundred years,
but still, I 
think the ellusive 'Good Slytherin' has indeed been
found.

My reply:  

You bring up a very good point about Phineas.  Do we
think that he was a kind of bad guy when he was
Headmaster?  I am inclined to think he changed after
spending so much time with Dumbledore.  But your right
I think he was a good guy after all.
