No-one said it did mean that.

but, still, Sirius "went bad", so either Hagrid is lying (which i 
believe, in particular i don't think he has any clue who Voldemort was 
let alone which house, and _our_ only independent source is the film, 
which also says James is a seeker. discuss.) or Sirius was in 
slytherin. or, quite possibly,both.
