Moody's entire body is one big collection of curse scars. Dumblefore
also has a scar on his knee that we can only assume came from a curse.
So lots of people in the wizard world, especially if they have lead
dangerous lives, have curse scars.


Having said that, let me make a distinction between a curse scar and a
curseD scar. Moody is one big collection of curse scar, but Harry has
a one of a kind, never existed before curseD scar. There is more going
on with Harry's scar than simply a wound from a curse. His scar seems
to be active, it is a scar that is still under the influence of some
type of magic, which in my book makes it a curseD scar.

Just a point of view.
