Well, it's funny. I have the first edition hardcover Uk, and it certainly
says "I've heard", no "never around". That's not so strange if we think it
is the first edition, the one in which Lilly Potter comes out from
VOldemort's wand before James Potter and all that. But I also have the
paperback edition. Version 20th, and it contains the same mistake. Weird.
One'd think they'd have had plenty of time to check the book and fix all the
previous mistakes. Hardback is usually released later.
