More on Ron and I'm out...

One of the things that came up in my head:

Is Ron going to be strongly tempted to go over to the other side (or 
even, horrors, actually defect) because Voldemort promises him 
worldly goods and recognition?  

I'm just thinking how JKR never 'wastes' any element.  And we have 
Ron, way back in SS/PS seeing fame in the Mirror of Erised, and then 
again in GoF, with his family's poverty weighing so heavily on him.

On the one hand, he expresses revulsion of the anti-Muggleness of 
the Death Eaters.  On the other hand, not every joiner of an 
organization agrees with every tenet.
