Does not liking certain songs as much as others diminish the talent of
the artist?

Do all your friend agree with you?

I think the purpose of the second book was to introduce Voldemort in
person, and give us his history as well as drop clues, set
foreshadowing, and introduce plot devices for future books, and in
addtion, entertain us with a new Harry/Ron/Hermione adventure, and an
adventure it was.

It wasn't as endearing as the first book, and it wasn't as complex and
intricately subplotted as the following books, but it did what it did
very well. 

Just a thought.
