I agree. I love Ron. I think he is a great character and definitely
a hero as well. I think he and Hermione are quite well suited - Like
Han Solo and Leah (you mentioned the Star Wars parallel above & I had
thought about that before - the HP trio having sort of the same type
of relationships as the SW trio). I think that since they are all so
young, there is probably a chance that JKR will not put much of an
emphasis on romantic relationships, and focus mainly on the most
urgent and important situations. However, and maybe it's still just
the anxiuos teenager in me that tends to surface when reading HP, I
still find the Harry/Hermione and Ron/Hermione shipping fun to
speculate about!
