I agree that whatever romance is there will be a side-plot, but I 
think there will be at least one romantic pairing (JKR pretty much 
told us this).  My thought, though, is what happens if JKR *does* 
solidly put two characters together romantically?  What will all the 
other shippers (and fanfic writers) do at this point?  Say, for 
instance, she puts Ron and Hermione together.  Will all the H/H 
shippers give up at this point, or will they just hang sneer and 
say "yeah, well wait 'til the next book."  :)  Just wondering.
