I was reminded of this theory of mine, when, a few days ago someone 
was bandying about the idea that Fred and George time travelled to 
get the results of the QWC.  Also, the way DD describes Aberforth 
seems to strike me as something one of the twins would say about the 
other.

Helen (me): ah! Yes, I have seen the speculation on F&G and the
Quidditch World Cup. I think it is possible that they may have time
traveled, but... I don't think either one of them is DD for the simple
reason that F&G are described as being shorter and stockier build, while
DD is tall, skinny with a long nose like Ron. Plus... DD's intimate
knowledge of the trio's doings would suggest someone closer to them.
Although, lol, I could see F&G describing the other as performing
inappropriate charms on a goat.  However, if they *did* time travel,
perhaps whatever method they used was used by Ron later.  It is a wild
theory, but the similarities in physical similarities between Ron and DD
can't be ignored... especially taken into context with the Bertie Bott
birthdate and DD's intimate knowledge of what goes on.
