Lets face it, Harry Potter books cross many age lines. My children 
love the story itself. I like the cleverness of Rowling's 
writings. Any time I hide a Christmas, birthday or whatever gift my 
children are compelled to find it.  *I know you have it, let's see 
it.* It is the same with the book, some must find the secret. If they 
reviewed the the book poorly I still would have bought it. The core 
fans won't be swayed in purchasing it. It may effect over-all sales 
slightly but, I doubt very much. I knew many gifts of G.O.F. given 
and recieved.
