Okay, I know its getting _really_ late for making observations and such, but
I got started on my "one last read through" later than I meant to. Anyway, I
tried using the search but with no real key word... well I just hope this
hasn't been discussed in a while.

Just some repetition that I noticed (all references come from the US
paperbacks):

"'You flatter me,' said Dumbledore calmly. 'Voldemort had powers I will
never have.'
'Only because you're too - well - *noble* to use them.'" P/SS, ch 1, pg 11

"'But, sir' - Dobby's voice dropped to an urgent whisper - 'there are powers
Dumbledore doesn't... powers no decent wizard...'" CoS, ch 2, pg 17

"'Just because a wizard *doesn't* use Dark Magic doesn't mean he *can't,*
Miss Pennyfeather,' snapped Professor Binns. 'I repeat if the likes of
Dumbledore-'" CoS, ch 9, pg 152

Does this mean something? Could, in the future, someone end up dying because
DD *wouldn't* use Dark Magic? Or perhaps in the past?

Would in such a case Harry doubt his mentor? Start thinking maybe its okay
to use dark magic - if its for a good cause. Until, of course, he has to
make a similar decision... Harry's Sacrifice (tm)? Maybe DD will be the
Sacrifice.

Comments? Any other ideas?
