As a practitioner of Korean Martial arts (which of course makes me 
an expert ;-) ) I can say that Cho Chang is indeed within the realm 
of possibility for Korean names. There has been a lot of cultural 
interchange between the two cultures over time. To give a very 
limited instance, both Chinese and Korean number names are used 
(Chinese - il, ee, sahm, sah / Korean - hana, dul, set, net).
