Just a comment...I'm sorry I really don't believe that Sirius
is "trapped in some other realm." I think that all the measures that
Harry goes through to try to contact him after the battle:...the
mirror and talking to Nearly Headless Nick about finding Sirius is
ghost form...were ways of JK letting us know that his death was
final. And finally that conversation w/ Luna. I really feel that
all these things were an ingenius expression of true grief. Harry
reacts the way anyone of us would when someone we care for deeply has
died--he searches for tangible reasons why Sirius CAN'T be dead. The
sad part is, that everywhere he looks he meets brick walls forcing
him to see that Sirius is really dead. Luna's comments on the veil
are a comfort to Harry and to us. They are an indication that some
form of life exists after death. But Sirius is dead and not coming
back. I'm sorry.
