Order of the Phoenix thoughts (SPOILERS!!!!!!)

Okay, I just finished the book (tome, more like it) and here's what I think(in no particular order):

1. This was a VERY  angry book!  I mean, I almost thought of Harry as James Dean putting his hands to his head and yelling: "You're tearing me apart!"   Though I really expected him to cry...a little at least!  Especially with witnessing two murders in less than a year!  

2. I am getting proud of Neville...he's finally coming to his own.  When he was his with the cruciatus curse by the same person who made his parents insane I began to think HE was the one to buy the farm!  But he was brave enough (the Sorting Hat was right!) to keep fighting and actually yelled at Harry to not give up the prophecy.  It was definitely sad when Harry Ron and Hermione stumble on to Neville and his 'gran' after their visit to the parents.  You had to really feel sorry when his mom came up and gave him a wrapper in front of everyone...I also think there still might be more to the prophecy that involves him.   I like the fact that there may be more in common b/w Harry and Neville than is generally believed...

3. New Character! Luna is....interesting.  I laughed so hard with her wearing the hat with the full-size lion!  and I hate to say this, but I almost see a possible Luna/Harry ship in the horizon. Tonks was very cool; in fact she remind me of a fic I read a while back..

4.  I liked the fact tha voldemort (sorry Ron!) doesn't make an appearance until the end of the book....we see his work being done....but not him till the end...really working behind the scenes..

5.  Ron as prefect was a surprise.....but he hardly ever did anything! Hermione was perfect as a prefect....

6.  Percy......deserves to have a gallon of bubbertoober pus poured down his throat!

7.  Sirius' death did not 'grab' me as much as Cedric's did....

8. What WAS that murmuring veil thingy that Sirius fell through and Harry and Luna could hear?

9. Where was Myrtle??  Did she WANT to be a ghost, as Nick told Harry??

10.  I pity Snape more for what he went through and was surprised Lily actually defended him.....

11.  Harry has to grow up and realize that his was father was 'perfect'....even he understood snape when he called James 'arrogant'.

12. Umbridge......(brrrr!)
