OoP : death and some other questions

First of all... Why does it have to be Sirius??? I
can't take it! Can't believe Rowling could be so
heartless! Before reading OoP, I expect the death that
we've been talking about would take at least a
chapter...it will be a heartbreaking scene...not a
quick death like this. We don't even see Sirius' body!
How I wish that it was Hagrid...

Well now for the questions:
1. The curse...
Did it kill Sirius? I have a suspicion that this is
the same curse used on Hermione. I meant, in both
cases, we don't get to hear the curse. Isn't it
strange that Hermione, instead of stunning the DE,
silenced him? What was she thinking? And after being
hit, both looked surprised. But then...Hermione is
alive.

2. So, did Sirius died because he went through that
veil? If Harry, unhurt, goes through that, would he
die? If someone just stuck their head, with some other
holding their bodies...would he/she die?

3. How does Nick know that Sirius wouldn't come back?
Can he make contact with Sirius?

4. The prophecies. Why did Dumbledore have the order
guarding it? Why not destroy it altogether? If he's
afraid someone would hear the prophecies, why not have
loud bangs going on in the room for about a minute,
then use the reductor curse... Safe a lot of trouble.

5. The snake. Is it Nagini? But there's something
curious about the poison. And how did the snake get
there? 

6. Was Arthur not wearing invisibility cloak while on
guard duty? Isn't that risky, if seen by other MoM
official?

7. Hedwig
She's hurt. And if I remember correctly, she hasn't
delivered any other letter since then. Hmmm...may be
we'll find out that she is  traumatised later on? Will
Harry get a new pet because of this?


I must say...I hate Harry at present. Stupid boy!
Sirius died because of him. I'm not talking about
going to MoM, he can't be blamed for that. But if he
opened Sirius' gift, then he would be able to reach
Sirius. Doesn't even have to break into Umbridge's
office.

And after Sirius died, he broke the mirror! That's the
last gift your godfather gives you...instead of
looking after it, you smashed it?!

On a side note, does anyone feel really empty and sad
after knowing that Sirius is dead? I feel like someone
has really died. My friends told me I'm crazy, taking
a death of a character so seriously...but...anyone in
the same boat?

Wishing she'll wake up and read that Sirius is not
dead, but as she finished reading 21 hours after
release (18.5 reading, 2.5 sleeping), it couldn't have
been a dream, could it?
