OOP (spoiler) re Sirius - JKR isn't God, just a darn good author!

JKR's imagination - and her heart - had the luxury of a great deal of 
freedom of expression in her first four books.  The result was 
storytelling rich in colorful characters and wonderfully full of 
elaborate details.  With OOP she has had to begin the daunting task 
of weaving all the threads she created together to eventually wind up 
the series. She must do this while maintaining the literary 
excellence that makes her writing so spectacular.  Isn't it possible 
that Sirius' death was primarily due to the fact that his continued 
existence would simply have created more loose ends than could be 
brought to a satisfactory conclusion within the realm of this 
series?  After all, didn't JKR say that the death was necessary for 
the plot?  There are, of course, many ways to interpret her comment, 
but she is, in the end, the one who has to do the writing!
