I don't know that Hermione would have remembered even if he had told
her. After all, she didn't remember that Snape was also a member of
the Order when they needed to talk to someone. And I also think
it's odd that she didn't think that the fireplace in Umbridge's
office was connected to the Floo Network and unwatched to boot.
WOuldn't that have been a faster and safer way to get to the MoM in
the end instead of flying?
