WELL... this is my first post since finishing the book. I am
emotionally drained to say the least. I find myself agreeing with
Melodychef in that Siruis's death (though extremely sad) seemed
somewhat pointless to me, BUT that absolutely reflects real life - I
can't really think of any situation that would justify the death of a
loved one in our eyes.

However, I think that Harry is most definitely left with perhaps his
most sensible "guardian" - Lupin. JKR has already said that he is
one of her favorite characters. I see a real relationship with Lupin
and Harry in the future (that is if neither of them snuffs it by the
end of the series). Remember how Lupin was able to restrain himself
from provacative behavoir in Snape's pensieve? I think Lupin may
help Harry get a grip on his (understandable) frustration and anger.

Furthering what Melodychef said about the people Harry cares about
being in danger... as we have sadly seen with Sirius, Voldemort most
definitely uses Harry's emotions to try and trap him. I think
Harry's friends and protectors could be in danger now, and I predict
that Harry will isolate himself even more than he has already started
to... (which may ultimately be a mistake?) in order to not lose
another person that he cares about. I don't know...
